How to redeem a gift card, step by step
Redeeming is the moment XP turns into something real: a digital gift card from a brand of your choice, delivered to your Kindslot profile. The process is simple, but it includes a review step, because every card we issue costs money and we only want to send them to real players. Here is the whole path, from the first check to the card in your profile.
Before you start
- A registered account. Guests can play but cannot redeem: create an account first, it takes a minute.
- A verified email address. If yours is still unverified, the Rewards page asks for the verification code before anything else.
- Being 18 or older. The first time you redeem you are asked for your date of birth; it is stored once and checked on every request.
- At least 6,000 XP, the price of the smallest card ($1). Cards go up to $15, at 6,000 XP per dollar.
- No other request open. You can have one redemption in progress at a time, and there is a cooldown of 4 days between requests.
Requesting a card
- Open Rewards from the top bar and browse the catalog. Use the XP and brand filters to find a card you can afford: cards that cost more than your balance show a message instead of opening.
- Click a card to see its details: brand, value, XP price and the terms of that gift card.
- Press the redeem button. Complete the quick anti-bot check if it appears, and confirm your date of birth if it is your first redemption.
- The request is created. Its XP price is deducted from your balance right away and the request appears as "pending approval".
What happens during review
Every request is checked by a person before the card is issued. The review looks at the account and its activity: one account per person, a real email, gameplay that looks like a human playing, no VPN or proxy, no automation. This is what keeps rewards available for everyone else, and it is the reason the delivery is not instant.
There is no fixed delivery time. When your request is approved you receive an email, and the card appears in your profile. If the request cannot be fulfilled, your XP is refunded automatically.
Where the card appears
Open Profile and look for "My rewards". Each request is listed with its status:
- Pending approval: the request is in the review queue.
- Processing: approved, the card is being generated with our provider.
- Completed: the card is ready. "Open gift card" opens the redemption page where you see the code and the instructions of the brand.
- Rejected: the request was declined and the XP has been returned to your balance.
- Failed: something went wrong on the provider side; the XP is returned and you can request again.
Good to know
- The gift card link lives in your profile only. Kindslot never sends codes by chat or social media, and nobody from Kindslot will ever ask for your password.
- Gift cards are promotional rewards and subject to availability: if a brand runs out, choose another one from the catalog.
- After opening your first card we ask for a quick rating of the experience. It is optional and helps us pick which brands to keep.
