About Texas Poker

Texas Poker is a heads-up version of Texas Hold'em: you against the dealer. Each of you gets two private cards, then five community cards are dealt in three steps, the flop (three cards), the turn and the river (one card each). The best five-card hand made from your two cards and the five on the table wins the pot.

The buy-in is 10 XP. Along the way you decide whether to fold, check, call, raise or go all-in; every raise you make is matched by the dealer, so a confident hand can grow the pot well beyond the initial stake. A split pot, when both hands are equal, refunds the bets.

How to play

  1. Pay the 10 XP buy-in. You and the dealer receive two private cards each.
  2. Act before the flop: FOLD to give up the hand, CHECK or CALL to continue, RAISE to increase the pot, or ALL-IN to put in the maximum allowed for a single bet, 100 XP.
  3. Three community cards (the flop) are dealt, then one more (the turn), then the last one (the river). You can act after each street.
  4. At showdown the best five-card hand wins the pot. Equal hands split it and the bets are refunded.
  5. Only one hand can be open at a time; leaving a hand unfinished folds it when a new one starts.

Tips for Texas Poker

  • Hand ranking from weakest to strongest: High Card, Pair, Two Pair, Three of a Kind, Straight, Flush, Full House, Four of a Kind, Straight Flush, Royal Flush.
  • Fold weak starting hands before the flop: the 10 XP buy-in is all you lose, and it keeps your balance for better spots.
  • Raise when the community cards improve your hand; the dealer matches every raise, so strong hands earn more here than in any other Kindslot game.
  • Go all-in only with a made hand. Raises and all-ins are capped at 100 XP per action, so an all-in is the largest single bet in the game, not your whole balance.

Frequently asked questions

Do I play against other players?

No. Texas Poker on Kindslot is a one-on-one game against the dealer, so there is no waiting for a table and no bluffing other people.

What does a standard win pay?

A standard win returns 20 XP on the 10 XP buy-in, plus any raises you made, which the dealer matched.

What do I do with the XP I win?

XP is the only currency on Kindslot. Once you have at least 6,000 XP you can redeem a digital gift card in the Rewards section: 6,000 XP equals a $1 card, and cards go up to $15. Redemptions need a registered, verified account and are reviewed by our team before delivery.

What happens if I run out of XP?

You can keep playing. When your balance drops to zero you get a free top-up of 50 XP, so a bad streak never locks you out. You also receive a daily bonus when you log in, and the Earn section lists surveys, offers and invitations that pay XP.
