21 Blackjack
Beat the dealer without going over 21, one hand at a time.

About 21 Blackjack
21 Blackjack is the Kindslot version of the most popular card game in the world. You play one hand against the dealer: both of you receive cards, and the hand closest to 21 without going over wins. A hand costs 10 XP, a win pays 20 XP, and a tie (a push) refunds your bet.
Card values follow the standard rules: number cards count their face value, Jack, Queen and King count 10, and an Ace counts 1 or 11, whichever is better for the hand. The dealer plays by a fixed rule, which makes the game easy to learn and good for practising basic strategy without risking money.
How to play
- Start a hand for 10 XP. You receive two cards face up; the dealer shows one card.
- Decide: HIT to draw another card, or STAND to keep your total.
- Go over 21 and the hand is lost (a bust). Otherwise, once you stand, the dealer plays.
- The dealer must hit on any total of 16 or less and must stand on 17 or more.
- Higher total wins: 20 XP back on your 10 XP bet. Equal totals are a push and your 10 XP are refunded.
Costs and payouts
| Outcome | XP |
|---|---|
| Bet Cost | 10 XP |
| Standard Win (1:1) | 20 XP |
| Push (Draw) | Refund |
- The Dealer must hit on any hand totaling 16 or less.
- The Dealer stands on all 17s.
Tips for 21 Blackjack
- Stand on 17 or more: the dealer stands on 17 too, so drawing again risks a bust for little gain.
- With 12 to 16 against a dealer card of 7 or higher, hitting is usually right; against a 4, 5 or 6, standing lets the dealer bust first.
- Always hit on 11 or less: you cannot bust with one more card.
- Finish every hand. Only one hand can be open at a time, and an unfinished hand is closed automatically (as a stand) when you start a new one.
Frequently asked questions
What are the available actions?
Hit and Stand. There is no doubling down, splitting or insurance in this version, which keeps every hand quick.
Does the dealer hit on a soft 17?
No. The dealer stands on all 17s, soft or hard, and hits on every total of 16 or less.
What do I do with the XP I win?
XP is the only currency on Kindslot. Once you have at least 6,000 XP you can redeem a digital gift card in the Rewards section: 6,000 XP equals a $1 card, and cards go up to $15. Redemptions need a registered, verified account and are reviewed by our team before delivery.
What happens if I run out of XP?
You can keep playing. When your balance drops to zero you get a free top-up of 50 XP, so a bad streak never locks you out. You also receive a daily bonus when you log in, and the Earn section lists surveys, offers and invitations that pay XP.
